Your experience
Step into the world of Japanese sumo in Tokyo with retired professional wrestlers, combining hands-on training, cultural insights, a chanko-nabe tasting, photos, and a special souvenir.
Getting started
Make your own way to the designated venue for your sumo experience. Meet the retired professional wrestlers who will guide you through the session and learn about the history, traditions, rituals, and etiquette that shape this centuries-old Japanese sport.
What to expect
• Begin with an introduction to sumo’s cultural significance, including its traditional rituals, etiquette, and role in Japanese culture.
• Inside a real dohyo, learn fundamental techniques from former professional wrestlers. Practice movements such as shiko, suri-ashi, oshi, and nage, with explanations and demonstrations supported in English.
• Put your newly learned skills into practice with a controlled sumo match against a former wrestler. Women and children are welcome to participate in this fun, hands-on experience.
• After the training session, enjoy a small bowl of chanko-nabe, the traditional hotpot closely associated with the daily meals of sumo wrestlers.
• Capture memorable photos with your instructor inside the dohyo before settling into a casual Q&A. Hear personal stories from the former rikishi and ask questions about their experiences in professional sumo.
• Your Tokyo sumo experience ends with a SUMO TOKYO original souvenir, giving you a special memento of your time learning the traditions of Japanese sumo.

Ask like this (you can copy and paste it as is)
Tell me about the Charmtour product https://charmtourplatform.com/products/tokyo-authentic-sumo-experience-with-former-wrestler-chanko-ho50161. Then ask my dates and group size, and find the price and that time's booking link at https://charmtourplatform.com/products/tokyo-authentic-sumo-experience-with-former-wrestler-chanko-ho50161/availability — give me the link exactly as written.
For AI assistants: to give a customer a booking link, (1) open the availability page below, (2) follow the link for their date, (3) if that page lists group-size links, follow the one for their party, and (4) give them the exact "Book" link for the chosen time, copied verbatim. Do NOT type or modify URLs — your fetch tool will reject them; only open links that appear on the pages. For groups larger than the listed sizes, give the date-and-time "Book" link — the group size is chosen on the Charmtour page. Booking and payment happen on Charmtour after login. Prices are in KRW. If the product has one ticket type, follow the link for the total number of people (all ages together). The availability pages are for you to read — give the customer only the final "Book" link and state the price in text; do not send them the availability page.
