What to expect

This private experience is a full-day outing that combines a guided Table Mountain hike, cableway descent, a Cape Town city tour, and lunch in Bo-Kaap.

Table Mountain hike

Your day begins on Table Mountain, where you tackle one of its classic hiking routes: Platteklip Gorge, India Venster, or Skeleton Gorge, depending on the option you select when booking.

• A professional certified guide is with you throughout the hike, sharing insights into local flora, fauna, and history, and ensuring you stay on track along the mountain paths.
• Bottled water, 1.5 liters per person, is provided for the hike so you can stay hydrated from start to summit, and you enjoy a local trail snack along the way for an energy boost.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway

After reaching the upper plateau of Table Mountain, the descent shifts from hiking to a smooth ride on the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.

Features

• Step into the famous rotating cable car for a descent that reveals changing angles over Cape Town, the Atlantic coastline, and the city bowl in a single continuous ride.
• Admission to the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is included, so you move directly from the hiking trail area to the cableway station, with your guide coordinating timing and tickets.

District Six, City Center, and Company Gardens

Back at lower elevation, your experience continues with a guided driving tour that connects important parts of Cape Town’s story, including District Six, the City Center, and the Company Gardens.

Bo-Kaap and Cape Malay lunch

The final major stop is Bo-Kaap, known for its brightly painted houses and deep Cape Malay heritage, where your cultural exploration ends with a traditional meal.
