Punta Cana Off-Road ATV & Dune Buggy Combo with Blue Cave and Macao Beach

Your Experience

Ride an ATV and dune buggy combo through Punta Cana's countryside, with a cave swim stop and time at Macao Beach in one guided adventure.

Getting started

Begin with round-trip transfers from selected hotels in Punta Cana and Bávaro to the off-road base. On arrival, you check in and meet the professional adventure guides and instructors. After receiving a safety briefing and driving instructions, you are fitted with protective helmets and required safety equipment before the vehicles are assigned.

What to expect

Punta Cana off-road trails

This adventure takes place on off-road trails through the Dominican countryside, away from the resort areas. You split your time between a guided ATV off-road adventure and a guided dune buggy driving experience, following your guides along dirt roads and rugged paths.

Features

• The ATV and dune buggy combo lets you drive both types of vehicles in a single outing, using dedicated ATV and dune buggy vehicles for each segment. This format gives you two distinct driving styles as you explore rural paths and tropical scenery.
• Professional adventure guides and instructors lead the route and set the pace on the off-road trails through the Dominican countryside. They provide a structured safety briefing and clear driving instructions before departure so you know how to handle each vehicle confidently.
• All required safety equipment is provided on-site, including protective helmets and other required safety gear. You focus on navigating the terrain while your guides manage the logistics and vehicle setup.

Natural cave with underground freshwater pool

Midway through the route, you arrive at a natural cave that holds an underground freshwater pool. It is a change of pace from the dusty trails and highlights a different side of the local landscape.

Features

• The visit to a natural cave with an underground freshwater pool is included as part of the guided route. This stop gives you time off the vehicles to see the rock formations and the clear water inside the cave environment.
• At this point, your guides remain with the group, coordinating timing and keeping the ATV and dune buggy vehicles secure while you explore. This structured stop sits between driving segments so you can rest before continuing the off-road adventure.

Macao Beach

Later, the route brings you to Macao Beach, a well-known coastal spot in the area. This is your final scenic stop before you return to the starting point and then back to your hotel area.

Features

• A stop at Macao Beach is included in the itinerary, so you can walk along the sand or watch the Caribbean shoreline before your transfer back. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and optional services at Macao Beach are not included, leaving you free to choose any extras on-site.
• Throughout the experience, photo opportunities at scenic stops are built into the schedule, including at Macao Beach and along the countryside trails. You are responsible for your own camera or phone, since professional photographs and videos are not part of the inclusions.

Wrapping up

After the Macao Beach stop, you return to the off-road base, where the ATV and dune buggy combo portion of the excursion concludes. Your round-trip transfers then take you back to your original pickup area in Punta Cana or Bávaro, with no additional activities scheduled.
