Your experience

Stepping into the Minorite Church, you'll find yourself surrounded by centuries of history, with its high vaulted ceilings and beautiful stained-glass windows creating the perfect backdrop for classical performances. The acoustics are renowned for their clarity, allowing each note—from the softest string to the boldest brass—to resonate throughout the space with stunning precision.

A journey through Mozart's masterpieces

The concert opens with the stirring Overture from Mozart's Don Giovanni (KV 527), a dramatic piece that sets the tone for the evening. As the orchestra moves into Symphony in A Major, the lively melodies transport you to the heart of Vienna, the city that nurtured Mozart’s genius. The Serenade No. 6 ‘Nocturnal Serenade’ (KV 239) follows, its gentle and peaceful tones evoking images of a quiet evening under the stars, drawing you into Mozart’s world of delicate emotions.

The vibrance of Haydn, Vivaldi, and Bach

Next, you are treated to the joyful Symphony No. 6 ‘Le Matin’ by Haydn, arranged for a string quintet, bringing an intimate, chamber-music feel to the performance. It contrasts beautifully with the rich, melodic lines of Vivaldi's Al Santo Sepolcro (RV 169) and the lively Bassoon Concerto in G Major (RV 493). The concert culminates with Bach’s Goldberg Variations (arranged for string trio), a sublime work that gives you a chance to pause, reflect, and truly appreciate his genius.
