• Once you've chosen your kimono, coordinate it with an obi belt, bag, traditional footwear, and other available accessories. You can also browse beautifully embroidered collars in different colors and designs to add another detail to your outfit. Whether you prefer a cute, chic, classic, or bold look, the selection lets you personalize your traditional attire.

Get dressed with professional assistance

• After choosing your outfit, let the experienced staff help you dress in your selected kimono. Their dressing skills help create a comfortable fit and a coordinated finish, even if this is your first time wearing traditional Japanese clothing.
• Next, complete your look with the Basic 8 Choices hairstyling plan. Choose one of eight selected Japanese-inspired hairstyles, with professional hairstylists helping coordinate the style with your kimono. The result is a polished look suited to sightseeing and photographs. Hair accessories and decorative ornaments are not included in this plan, and special or elaborate hairstyling may incur an additional fee.
• Allow around one to one and a half hours for selecting your kimono, dressing, hairstyling, and getting ready to head out. The time needed can vary depending on your choices, and waiting may occur during busy sightseeing seasons, even with a reservation.

Explore Kyoto in traditional attire

• Once you're ready, step outside and enjoy Kyoto dressed in your chosen kimono. Take a stroll through the city's streets, visit nearby sights, or plan a day of sightseeing in traditional Japanese attire. Depending on your plans and chosen rental location, you can explore areas such as Gion, Kiyomizu-dera, Arashiyama, or Fushimi Inari.
