Getting started

Begin with hotel pickup within the designated pickup areas and meet your professional English-speaking tour guide. After boarding the air-conditioned vehicle, your guide outlines the route and safety basics while you set off toward Cappadocia’s valleys and cave sites. Your entrance tickets for Zelve Open-Air Museum and Paşabağ are handled in advance, so you move straight into the guided portions at each stop.

What to expect

This historic cave village is one of Cappadocia’s key open-air complexes, known for rock-cut homes and chapels. You explore it on foot with your guide, who leads you through the carved spaces and viewpoints.

Features

• Entry to Zelve Open-Air Museum is included in your tour, so you access the site directly without arranging separate tickets.
• Transport to and from Zelve is by air-conditioned vehicle, covered as part of your round-trip transfers and parking fees and taxes.

Paşabağ, also called Monks Valley, is known for its mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. This stop focuses on viewing these formations up close and understanding how they fit into Cappadocia’s landscape.

Features

• The fairy chimneys at Paşabağ have distinctive mushroom-shaped tops, and you walk among them to see how erosion created their layered forms.
• Entrance to Paşabağ is already included with your museum tickets, so your group proceeds straight from the vehicle into the valley area.
• Your guide provides commentary in English on the geology and local stories linked to Paşabağ while you travel comfortably in the air-conditioned vehicle between stops.

Love Valley

Love Valley is known for its unusual rock formations and wide valley views. This is a photo-oriented stop that showcases the terrain you have been driving through.

Devrent Valley

Devrent Valley, sometimes called Imagination Valley, is where naturally eroded rocks resemble animals and figures. You stop here to walk short sections and pick out shapes in the stone.

Features

• The visit to Devrent Valley is included in your tour schedule, with transportation in the air-conditioned vehicle and associated parking fees and taxes already arranged.
• Your guide helps you identify some of the most recognized rock “characters” in Devrent Valley and explains why this area is also known as Imagination Valley.

Avanos pottery workshop

Avanos is a town long associated with pottery traditions, and here you visit a local pottery workshop. The stop focuses on watching craftspeople at work and seeing how clay is shaped.

• The Avanos pottery workshop visit is explicitly included in the tour, so there is no extra fee to enter or observe the demonstrations.
• Your transport to and from Avanos is provided in the same air-conditioned vehicle that handles your round-trip transfers across the entire route.

Uçhisar viewpoint

Near Uçhisar Castle, you stop at a viewpoint that overlooks surrounding valleys. This is a photography-focused pause that gives context to the different areas you have already visited.

Features

• From the Uçhisar viewpoint, you photograph Cappadocia’s valleys and rock formations from a higher vantage point, with the outline of Uçhisar Castle nearby.
• The tour visits only the Uçhisar viewpoint, and admission inside Uçhisar Castle is not included in this experience.
• This viewpoint stop, along with its parking and logistics, is included in your guided route, and your English-speaking guide is available to point out valleys you explored earlier in the day.

Lunch at a local restaurant

Midway through the route, you break for lunch arranged at a local restaurant. This provides a pause between the morning and afternoon stops.

Features

• Lunch is served at a local restaurant as part of this variant.
• Lunch is included in this variant, so a meal at a local restaurant is part of your day, with only drinks during lunch excluded from the package.
• The timing and location of lunch are coordinated by your guide and driver, and your transportation in the air-conditioned vehicle covers the journey to and from the restaurant.
• Tips for the guide and driver and any personal purchases during the lunch break are not included, so you can decide independently how much to spend.
