Getting started

Begin by meeting your expert guide and joining your group for round-trip transfers by modern minibus. After boarding, travel together toward the Dobrogea region, where your guide introduces the day’s plan and safety information. On arrival near Histria Fortress, you step off the minibus and prepare to enter the archaeological site with your included entrance tickets.

Histria Fortress is the first fortress in the Dobrogea region and a key historical stop on this experience. You explore the site in a structured format with your guide, who leads you through key areas of the fortress during the visit.

• A guided visit to Histria Fortress is led by your professional, expert guide, who explains the significance of this first fortress in the Dobrogea region as you walk through its remains.
• Entrance tickets are already arranged as part of the booking, which keeps the focus on the experience instead of logistics.

Local winery tasting

After the fortress, you continue by modern minibus to a local winery in the area. This stop introduces the flavors of Dobrogea in a relaxed setting.

Features

• Round-trip transfers by modern minibus cover the journey from the fortress to the local winery and later toward your sunset venue, so you do not need to arrange separate transport.
• A wine tasting with snacks in a local winery is included, giving you the chance to sample regional wines alongside light bites during a dedicated tasting session.
• Your expert, professional guide remains with the group, helping translate winery information if needed and keeping the schedule on track between locations.

Sunset wine tasting with folklore and bonfire

The final part of the experience is a sunset wine tasting combined with a folklore program and bonfire. This takes place in the evening, creating a different atmosphere from the earlier indoor tasting.

Features

• A sunset wine tasting with folklore and bonfire is included, combining regional wines with live cultural elements as daylight fades.
• The folklore and bonfire setting adds a distinct close to the day, with time to sit, listen, and enjoy the surroundings during this final tasting.
• Additional drinks during dinner are not included, so any extra beverages beyond what is provided with the tastings would be at your own expense.
