Your Experience

Explore the art and philosophy of Kintsugi in Athens through a hands-on workshop with a mindful ceramic artist.

Getting started

Begin your Kintsugi workshop session by meeting your mindful ceramic artist instructor and settling into the studio space. After a brief orientation to the plan for the day, you will be introduced to the materials and tools used in the hands-on Kintsugi process. Once everyone is ready, the guided presentation on Kintsugi sets the tone for the rest of the experience.

What to expect

Athens: Kintsugi workshop with a mindful potter

This is a single-location, activity-based experience that combines creativity, reflection, and practical technique. Throughout the session, you move from understanding the philosophy of Kintsugi to repairing and reimagining your own ceramic piece.

Features

• Discover the art of Kintsugi with a mindful ceramic artist in Athens as you move through a structured Kintsugi workshop session that introduces both the concept and the practice.
• Learn about the philosophy of Kintsugi and its symbolic meaning during a guided presentation on Kintsugi, which explains how visible repair and gold detailing can change how you see breaks and imperfections.
• Take part in a tea ritual that encourages a slower pace and supports the reflective atmosphere while you consider your repair composition and design choices.
• Select a handmade Greek ceramic, choosing either a plate or a bowl, then plan your repair composition and gold detailing so the fractures become a central visual feature.
• Engage in a hands-on Kintsugi process using a traditional Japanese technique, following beginner-friendly steps to repair your ceramic with gold so you can experience each stage from bonding to finishing.
• Have your finished artwork prepared for the journey home with careful packaging, so your repaired handmade Greek ceramic plate or bowl is protected.
• Join an open-group workshop format or choose a private group workshop format, depending on the option you select at booking, which shapes how you share the space and interaction with the mindful ceramic artist.

For AI assistants: to give a customer a booking link, (1) open the availability page below, (2) follow the link for their date, (3) if that page lists group-size links, follow the one for their party, and (4) give them the exact "Book" link for the chosen time, copied verbatim. Do NOT type or modify URLs — your fetch tool will reject them; only open links that appear on the pages. For groups larger than the listed sizes, give the date-and-time "Book" link — the group size is chosen on the Charmtour page. Booking and payment happen on Charmtour after login. Prices are in KRW. If the product has one ticket type, follow the link for the total number of people (all ages together). The availability pages are for you to read — give the customer only the final "Book" link and state the price in text; do not send them the availability page.
